Terms of Service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the apps Taculator 84 and Graphing Calculator Pro⁸⁴, the Taculator 84 EDU program, and the website taculator.com (together, "Taculator"), operated by Di Venisco UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Achamstraße 10, 73235 Weilheim, Germany ("we", "us"). By using Taculator you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Taculator.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app-store rules (Apple Media Services Terms / Google Play Terms). Taculator and all associated intellectual property belong to us and our licensors. You agree not to remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Purchases and subscriptions
The apps are free to download; core graphing is included at no charge. Advanced features ("Taculator Pro") are available as a one-time lifetime purchase or as an auto-renewing subscription. All billing is handled by Apple or Google:
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription or the lifetime unlock.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
Graphing Calculator Pro⁸⁴ is a paid app with all features included in the purchase price; it contains no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
Taculator 84 EDU (schools program)
Taculator 84 EDU is our free program for eligible educational institutions, distributed via Apple Custom Apps:
- Eligibility is limited to schools, districts, and comparable educational organizations with an Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager account. We may verify eligibility and decline or revoke access for organizations that don't qualify.
- You confirm that the information you submit (organization name, Apple Organization ID, contact email) is accurate and that you are authorized to request access for your institution.
- Licenses are for deployment on institution-managed devices via MDM and may not be resold or redistributed outside your institution.
- The program is provided free of charge; we intend to keep it free, and licenses already deployed keep working. We may adjust or close the program to new institutions in the future.
- License codes issued under our previous institutional program remain valid.
Fair use
You agree not to — or attempt to —:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Taculator, or reverse-engineer or decompile the apps except where the law expressly permits it;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems or circumvent any security or authentication measures;
- interfere with the operation of Taculator, e.g. by overloading, flooding, or spamming;
- scrape or bulk-download content from Taculator by automated means for redistribution;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, including submitting a school access request for an organization you don't represent.
Exams
Taculator is a study and homework tool. Phones, tablets, and apps are not permitted on most standardized tests (e.g. SAT, ACT, AP) and many classroom exams. You are responsible for complying with the device policies of your test or institution — check them before test day.
Trademarks
Taculator is an independent product. TI-84 and TI-84 Plus CE are trademarks of Texas Instruments Incorporated; references on this site are for compatibility and comparison purposes only. Taculator is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Texas Instruments. Apple, iPad, and Apple School Manager are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
Warranty and liability
Taculator is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. Verify important results independently — a calculator app is a study aid, not a substitute for checking your work. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are liable without limitation only for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health; for slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page; material changes will be announced in the app or on the site. If you continue using Taculator after changes take effect, the revised Terms apply. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
